This section is a compilation of answers to the questions most commonly asked by our constituents. Just start by following one of the links below. If you can’t find the question you wanted to ask, don’t hesitate to contact us.

  1. A party should notify us of large events if more than 50 participants are expected by using the "contact us" option on this website. However, the entire park is always open to the public and will not be off limits even during private events.

  2. All locations are open from sunrise to sunset, all year round.

  3. Can cemetery plots be reserved?

    Cemetery plot allocations are on a death first basis. See our Cemetery Policy for a full explanation.

  4. Can I schedule the Cottonwood Park train for a private event.

    Train rides may be scheduled for private events for $100 per hour. All train rides will be
    open to the public even when scheduled for a private event.

  5. Are pets allowed at the Cottonwood Park?

    Pets are allowed but must be on a leash that is no more than 8ft long and must be under direct control of the owner at all times. Owners are responsible to immediately clean up after their pets. Anyone found leaving pet waste on the ground may be charged with class 2 misdemeanor with a possible fine of up to $600 per occurrence.
